What you receive when you pay Brand Vantage Academy, when you receive it, how it is delivered, and what to do if it does not arrive.

Contracting party
Brand Vantage Marketing Private Limited

Brand Vantage Academy delivers education, training, and career-readiness services. We do not sell physical goods. This Policy therefore takes the place of a shipping policy, and describes the delivery of services rather than the dispatch of products.

This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read together with our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions.

01Nature of what is delivered

1.1 Services, not goods

What you purchase from the Academy is a service — access to structured learning delivered by trainers and mentors, together with associated assessment, certification, and career-readiness support. No physical product is sold, and no consignment is shipped, save for the limited exceptions in Clause 10.

1.2 What a programme includes

Unless the Programme description states otherwise, enrolment in a Programme entitles you to:

  • a confirmed seat in the specified Cohort;
  • access to the learning portal for the specified access period;
  • attendance at all scheduled live sessions of that Cohort;
  • digital course materials for the modules covered;
  • assignments, hands-on practice exercises, and industry projects;
  • trainer and mentor support during the Programme;
  • skill assessments and evaluation feedback;
  • a certificate on successful completion, subject to eligibility;
  • career readiness support — resume building, LinkedIn optimisation, mock interviews, and interview preparation, where included in that Programme; and
  • internship support and placement assistance, where included in that Programme and subject to Clause 9.

1.3 What is not included

Unless expressly stated in the Programme description, the Fee does not include: external vendor certification examination fees; third-party software licences or cloud consumption charges you incur in your own account; hardware or devices; internet connectivity; travel, accommodation, or meals; printed books or physical materials; or one-to-one private tuition outside scheduled sessions.

02Delivery timelines

Timelines run from realisation of the full Fee in the Academy's account, unless stated otherwise.

DeliverableWhen you receive it

Enrolment confirmation emailWithin 24 hours of payment realisation
GST-compliant tax invoiceWithin 3 Business Days of payment realisation

Digital certificate on completionWithin 15 Business Days of successful completion and eligibility confirmation

Where a Cohort start date is later than the date of payment, delivery of live sessions naturally commences on the Cohort start date. Pre-payment does not mean immediate commencement.

03Modes of delivery

ModeHow it is delivered
Online — liveInstructor-led sessions over a video conferencing platform, at scheduled times, with interaction, Q&A, and screen-shared demonstrations
Online — self-pacedRecorded content, readings, and exercises accessible through the learning portal during the access period
HybridA combination of live online sessions and self-paced content, with in-person sessions for practicals or assessments where specified
On campusDelivered at your Institution's premises using the Institution's classrooms, labs, and infrastructure, on dates agreed between the Academy and the Institution

Corporate — virtualDelivered over the Corporate Client's or the Academy's video conferencing platform

The mode applicable to your Programme is stated in the Programme description and confirmed in your enrolment confirmation. The Academy may change the mode of delivery in accordance with Clause 5.2 of the Terms and Conditions; a change of mode does not entitle you to a refund (see Clause 5.4 of the Refund and Cancellation Policy).

04Learning portal access

4.1 Provisioning

Credentials are issued to the email address recorded at enrolment. Please check your spam or promotions folder before reporting non-receipt.

4.2 First login

You must complete first login and set your password within 7 days of receiving credentials. Unactivated accounts may be locked for security and will require re-verification.

4.3 Access period

Unless the Programme description states otherwise, portal access is available from the date credentials are issued until 90 days after the Cohort end date. Extended or lifetime access, where offered, is stated in the Programme description.

4.4 Single user

Access is personal, single-user, and non-transferable. Concurrent logins from multiple devices or locations may be flagged as credential sharing and result in suspension under Clause 4.4 of the Terms and Conditions, without refund.

4.5 Content availability

Modules may be released progressively in line with the Cohort schedule rather than all at once. Progressive release is a delivery design choice, not a delivery failure.

4.6 Downloads

Content is provided for online access. Download or offline access is available only where a download facility is expressly provided for a specific item. Recording, screen-capturing, or redistributing content is prohibited under Clause 15 of the Terms and Conditions.

05Live session delivery

5.1 Schedule

The session calendar is published at least 7 days before the Cohort starts and is available in the learning portal. Sessions run in Indian Standard Time (IST).

5.2 Attendance

You are responsible for joining on time. Sessions are not repeated for individual absentees.

5.3 Recordings

Where a Programme includes session recordings, they are made available within 48 hours. Recordings are a supplementary revision aid, not a substitute for live attendance, and do not count towards the attendance requirement unless the Programme expressly says so.

5.4 Rescheduling by the Academy

Where a session must be rescheduled — trainer illness, platform outage, public holiday, or an Institution's academic requirement — we will give as much notice as circumstances permit through the portal, email, or WhatsApp, and will deliver a substitute session. Rescheduling does not entitle you to a refund.

5.5 Make-up sessions

Where the Academy cancels a session at short notice and does not deliver it, a make-up session will be scheduled within the Programme duration or as an extension to it.

06Course materials

6.1 Digital by default

Course materials — slide decks, workbooks, exercise files, datasets, code repositories, reference guides — are delivered digitally through the learning portal. This is the standard delivery method for all Programmes.

6.2 Format

Materials are typically provided as PDF, video, interactive content, spreadsheets, or code files. Software required to open standard formats is your responsibility.

6.3 Physical materials

Printed handbooks, workbooks, or kits are supplied only where a Programme description expressly says so. Where supplied, Clause 10 applies.

6.4 Updates

Materials may be updated during a Programme to reflect changes in tools, software versions, or industry practice. Updated versions replace earlier ones in the portal.

07On-campus and institutional delivery

7.1 Scheduling

Where a Programme is delivered at an Institution's campus, dates, timings, duration, and venue are agreed between the Academy and the Institution, and are subject to the Institution's academic calendar, examination schedule, and infrastructure availability.

7.2 Institution's responsibilities

The Institution is responsible for providing the classroom or lab, seating, projector or display, power supply, internet connectivity where required, and student attendance coordination, as recorded in the MoU, Letter of Association, or Letter of Authorization.

7.3 Delays caused by the Institution

Where delivery is delayed or disrupted by the Institution's academic calendar, examinations, infrastructure unavailability, holidays, or administrative decisions, the Academy will reschedule the affected sessions and will not be in breach of this Policy. Such delays do not create a refund right.

7.4 Curriculum design period

For institutional programmes, a curriculum design period applies before commencement, during which the Academy calibrates content to the students' existing level and the Institution's academic curriculum. Delay by the Institution in furnishing syllabus inputs extends the design period and the commencement date correspondingly.

08Assessment and certification delivery

8.1 Assessments

Assessments are delivered through the learning portal or in person, per the Programme design. Dates are published in the session calendar.

8.2 Results

Assessment results and feedback are released within 7 Business Days of submission or of the assessment date, whichever is later.

8.3 Certificate issuance

A digital certificate is issued within 15 Business Days of confirmation that you have:

  • paid all Fees in full;
  • met the minimum attendance requirement (ordinarily 75%);
  • satisfied all assessment and project criteria; and
  • complied with the Terms and Conditions.

8.4 Certificate format

Certificates are delivered digitally as a PDF to your registered email and through the learning portal, and carry a unique certificate identifier for verification.

8.5 Physical certificates

Printed certificates are issued only where a Programme expressly includes them, or on request subject to a printing and dispatch charge notified at the time of request. Clause 10 applies to dispatch.

8.6 Nature of certificate

Certificates evidence completion of the specified Programme. They are not degrees or diplomas and are not recognised by UGC, AICTE, or any statutory regulator (see Clause 11 of the Terms and Conditions).

8.7 Corrections and reissue

Errors caused by the Academy are corrected and reissued free of charge. Reissue required because of information you supplied incorrectly at enrolment may attract an administrative charge.

09Internship and placement service delivery

9.1 What is delivered

Where a Programme includes career services, the Academy delivers: resume building, LinkedIn profile optimisation, personal branding guidance, mock interviews with feedback, aptitude and interview preparation, career counselling, referral of your profile to employers and internship hosts, and access to hiring drives.

9.2 When it is delivered

Career readiness support is delivered in the final phase of the Programme per the published schedule. Placement assistance activates on successful completion and confirmation of eligibility under Clause 12.4 of the Terms and Conditions.

9.3 What is not delivered

The Academy does not deliver, and does not guarantee, an internship, a job offer, employment, a stipend, a minimum salary, a specific role, or a specific employer. Placement assistance is a best-efforts support service. Non-receipt of a job offer is not a delivery failure under this Policy and does not create a refund right.

9.4 Duration of placement support

Unless a Programme states otherwise, placement assistance is provided for 6 months from the date of Programme completion, or until you accept an offer, whichever is earlier.

9.5 Profile sharing requires consent

We share your profile with prospective employers only with your separate specific consent (see Clause 11.3 of the Privacy Policy). Declining or withdrawing that consent prevents delivery of placement assistance and does not create a refund right.

9.6 Third-party hosts

Internships hosted by third parties are delivered by that host, not by the Academy. The host controls the work, duration, stipend, and any certificate it issues.

10Physical dispatch

This Clause applies only where a Programme expressly includes printed materials, a physical kit, or a printed certificate, or where you have separately requested and paid for one. In all other cases nothing is shipped and Clause 1.1 applies.

10.1 Dispatch timeline

Dispatch within 7 Business Days of the item becoming due (Programme commencement for materials; certificate issuance for printed certificates).

10.2 Delivery timeline

DestinationIndicative delivery time from dispatch
Within Bengaluru2–4 Business Days
Within Karnataka3–6 Business Days
Rest of India5–10 Business Days
International10–21 Business Days, subject to customs

These are estimates provided by the courier and are not guaranteed.

10.3 Address

Dispatch is to the address you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that address, including PIN code and a reachable contact number. Re-dispatch to a corrected address after a failed delivery is chargeable.

10.4 Tracking

A tracking reference is emailed on dispatch where the courier provides one.

10.5 Charges

Dispatch within India is included where the Programme expressly includes physical materials. International dispatch, expedited delivery, and re-dispatch are chargeable at actuals and quoted before dispatch.

10.6 Customs and duties

For international dispatch, all customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges are payable by you and are not included in the Fee.

10.7 Damage or non-receipt

Report damage or non-receipt within 7 days of the expected delivery date, with photographs where the item is damaged. Verified cases are replaced at no charge.

11Technical requirements

To receive online delivery you need, at minimum:

RequirementMinimum
DeviceLaptop or desktop (Windows 10 or later, or macOS 11 or later). A tablet or phone is not sufficient for hands-on technical modules
Processor and memoryDual-core processor, 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended for data, cloud, and AI modules)
Storage20 GB free disk space
InternetStable broadband, minimum 5 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload
BrowserLatest version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari
Audio and videoWorking microphone, speakers or headphones, and webcam
SoftwareAs specified in the Programme's technical checklist, supplied with your welcome pack

Meeting these requirements is your responsibility. Failure to access sessions or materials because your device, software, power supply, or connectivity does not meet these requirements is not a delivery failure and does not create a refund right (see Clause 3.3 of the Refund and Cancellation Policy).

12Proof of delivery

The Academy's records constitute proof of delivery, including: portal credential issuance logs, login and access logs, session attendance records from the conferencing platform, content access and progress logs, assignment submission timestamps, email delivery logs, and certificate issuance records.

These records are conclusive evidence of delivery in the absence of manifest error.

13Delays and non-delivery

13.1 If you have not received something

If a deliverable in Clause 2 has not reached you by the stated time, please:

  1. Check your spam, promotions, and updates folders, and confirm the email address on your enrolment record is correct;
  2. Check the learning portal, where most deliverables are also posted;
  3. Contact support at support@brandvantageacademy.com with your name, enrolment reference, Programme and Cohort, and what is missing.

13.2 Our response

StageTimeline
Acknowledgement24 hours
Resolution of an access or credential issue48 hours
Resolution of a content or materials issue3 Business Days
Substantive response on any other delivery issue7 Business Days

13.3 Support hours

Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM IST, excluding public holidays. Requests received outside these hours are actioned on the next working day. Live sessions may be scheduled outside these hours; session-time technical support is provided by the trainer or session coordinator.

13.4 Genuine delivery failure

Where the Academy has genuinely failed to deliver a service you paid for, we will deliver it, or provide an equivalent — extended access, a make-up session, an alternative module, or a rescheduled Cohort. Remediation in kind is the primary remedy. A refund arises only in the circumstances in Clause 5.1 of the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

13.5 What is not a delivery failure

For clarity, the following are not delivery failures: rescheduling or postponement; change of trainer, mentor, or Delivery Partner; change of delivery mode; curriculum updates; progressive module release; your own absence or non-participation; failure of your device or connectivity; your failure to meet attendance or assessment criteria; and non-receipt of a job offer or internship.

14Force majeure

Where delivery is prevented or delayed by a Force Majeure Event as defined in Clause 22 of the Terms and Conditions — including epidemic, natural disaster, government action, civil unrest, strike, utility or internet failure, cyber-attack, or third-party platform failure — the Academy will not be in breach of this Policy. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate by shifting to online delivery, rescheduling, or extending the Programme timeline. Such mitigation does not entitle you to a refund, discount, or compensation.

15Grievances

16Changes to this policy

The Academy may amend this Policy at any time, with the revised version posted here and an updated "Last updated" date. The version in force on the date your enrolment is confirmed governs the delivery of that Programme.
