Analytics is no longer a technical specialism reserved for computer science students. Commerce, science and management graduates are being hired into roles that expect them to work with data and explain what it shows. These seven courses run from spreadsheet competence through SQL and dashboards to statistics and machine learning, and most of them assume no technical background at the start.

The Business Analyst is one of the highest-volume entry roles in Indian IT services, and almost nothing at undergraduate level prepares students for it. This course teaches the actual job: eliciting what stakeholders need but have not said, writing requirements a developer can build from, modelling processes, and managing the gap between what was asked for and what was meant.

Turning data into something a manager will act on. Power BI is taught as the primary platform because it dominates Indian job listings; Tableau is taught as the transferable second tool. Covers the part most BI courses skip: defining a metric correctly, because a beautiful dashboard built on a wrong definition is worse than no dashboard.

The reasoning underneath every analysis. Taught for students who will use statistics rather than prove theorems: what a distribution tells you, when a difference is real, how sampling goes wrong, and how to resist the impressive-sounding result that will not survive scrutiny. Built around business and research cases, not abstract exercises.

The full data science workflow, taught with the emphasis where the job actually is: framing, data preparation and honest evaluation, rather than algorithm trivia. Students build and evaluate real models, learn why most models fail in production, and finish able to defend a modelling decision to someone who will ask hard questions.
